(The more I thought about Ella’s outfit, I feel like this is the type of shoe that would really complement the whole vibe best. I like Option 1 best, but not sure about how much wear she’d get out of a stiletto heel in the future, so totally fine with either. Since we’re doing a more adult shoe, for the shirt, I’d definitely do a tank or cropped plain white short sleeve so there’s a bit more coverage.)

We’d want to see a couple of inches of tummy. I can help you source one if you decide to go this route, but dance cropped tees are often perfectly form-fitting for stuff like this.

(My favorite options are the skirt with a cropped tee or the set. I’d pair either one with a kids version of the same boots as Ella.)
